Irgendwie ein Gefühl, welches ich in einem schönen Traum erlebe und einfach nicht wach werden will…
… auch sind gefühlt keine Adjektive mehr übrig; glücklich, gesegnet, zufrieden, begeistert, überwältigt, dankbar, stolz und geehrt.
Meine Geburtsstadt zeigt sich im Jahr unseres 25jährigen Jubiläums von Ihrer besten Seite. Das Wetter, die Menschen, das Essen, der Bosporus, die Freunde, die Kunst, die Sehenswürdigkeiten, Fenerbahce (18 Spiele -18 Siege), alles passt.
Ali Tan, Michael, Jochen und David das Dream Team steht und ich hoffe die Fotos spiegeln die Freude, den Spaß, die Stimmung und das Glück wieder, dass wir über die Tage empfunden haben.
Das Event selbst ausverkauft und gefüllt mit Menschen die die Passion zur Zigarre mit uns teilen. Hier stimmt einfach alles die Wertschätzung und der Spaß. Vielen lieben Dank an die Gäste, meine Jungs und das Peat&Sherry Team.
Ali Tan präsentiert seinen Balbao Rum und jetzt, sowie auch bei seiner Rede in Istanbul…, verdammt irgendwie habe ich wohl gerade Rauch ins Auge bekommen… Die Teilnehmer sind auch sehr emotional und die Anerkennung für die Zigarre und die Arbeit, die wir reingesteckt haben, erfüllt mich mit unendlicher Dankbarkeit.
Nicht zu vergessen, die erstmalige Präsentation unseres 25 jährigen Whiskys, passend in der vielleicht schönsten Whiskybar der Welt. Gürkan der Geschäftsführer des Peat&Sherry, ein echter Whisky Pro, erkennt die Destillerie und viel wichtiger, ist schwer begeistert von dem Tropfen. Auch unseren Gästen schmeckt er und hier sind wir ebenfalls glücklich, dass sich die jahrelange Arbeit die hier eingeflossen ist, gewürdigt wird.
Jedenfalls hoffe ich, dass ich aus diesem schönen Traum nicht so schnell aufwache.

Dalay Istanbul release Party in Istanbul.
Somehow this feels like I am in a nice dream and I just can’t wake up.
Doing this for 25 years and being able to celebrate the Dalay Istanbul project that we worked on for 10 years, in the city of my birth and the most beautiful city in the world, makes me speechless.
Feeling blessed is the most dominant feeling. Istanbul does us the favor to present itself in the best way possible, the weather, the food, the Bosphorus, the friends, the art, the sights, the people, the history. Ali Tan, Michael, Jochen and David the dream team is set and I really hope the photos reflect, the joy, the fun, the mood we felt on this trip.
The event itself was sold out quickly and filled with people that share our passion for cigars. Everything fell into place, the appreciation and the fun. Big thank you to all our guests, my guys and the Peat&Sherry team. Junior presents his Balbao rum and gave a nice speech, which resulted in a proud dad.
The world premier of our 25 year old Dalay Whisky in probably one of the most beautiful whisky bars in the world was a match made in heaven. Gürkan the man running Peat&Sherry recognizes the distillery immediately and more important loves it. All the guests enjoyed it too and after putting years of work into this whisky, this makes us feel great.
Finally I hope this dream goes on and on and I don’t wake up anytime soon.
